WOW, I have that same bike and a Fox 40. Thought about putting it on but figured it would be way to heavy. How much abuse to you give the Slayer. I haven't really used my for more then XC slight AM. Thought about taken it to Northstar but wasn't sure it could handle it. I am a clyde 250 geared. bike is an 18in I keep think I should just get the SX Trail but I really like my Slayer.
